About the Show
Burrs Country Park provides a beautiful setting for the 67th annual show organised by Bury and District Agricultural Society, with the River Irwell on one side of the show ground and the East Lancs steam railway on the other. For those wishing to make a weekend of it, there is a new Caravan Club site adjacent. Some of this years attractions are

RURAL CRAFTS, EXOTIC ANIMALS,

ROSSENDALE DOG TRAINING, STEEL BAND, Y.F.C,
FUN FAIR, REFRESHMENTS & TRADE STANDS
Entry to the
show is £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and children over 5. Those under 5
get free entry.
